Note : Arben Kraja is using the last days at the head of the Special Prosecutor's Office to try to justify his failures and inability, or lack of will, to bring the big fish to justice.

He ends his mandate as head of the Special Prosecutor's Office on December 18. A mandate that had to be remembered, starting from the great investment and trust that Albanians and internationals had in the justice reform and SPAK in particular.

Appearing in front of the cameras for the action taken in the cocaine laboratory in Frakull of Fier seems to be part of this Kraja campaign. Attempt to take credit, when the operation, as Voxnea.al sources claim, was organized by internationals, and the SPAK of Kraja in this case is suspected to have had a purely executive role.

But it didn't stop there! The head of SPAK also appeared in the media. In a 40-minute interview given in Euronea, the head of the Special Prosecution spoke at length, but said nothing. The only new thing he said, at least in public, was the part when he claimed that SPAK prosecutors were under pressure.

With the Mullar files in the drawers of this institution, no one denies that pressure may have been exerted. However, Kraja was surprised when he said that the pressure was not being exerted by those who have 2-3 files on their backs in this institution with serious accusations, but by the portals.

According to Arben Kraja, when the portals criticize him and SPAK led by him, they are a form of pressure. But can the writings of the portals be called pressure as to why the special prosecutors, the highest paid in Albania and among the highest paid in Europe if the average salary of each country is taken as a basis, apply two standards?

Can it be called pressure when the portals denounce the stances with two standards of the structure, where on the one hand they keep in prison without evidence, or with minimal official evidence for X files and drag them out with the justification that 'we are investigating' the files at the expense of Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta ?

A mund të quhet presion kërkesa e llogarisë për këto qëndrime të dyfishta? E sigurtë që jo. Madje me qëndrimin e mbajtur në intervistën e dhënë për Euroneës, Arben Kraja e përforcoi bindjen se qëndrimi me dy standarde nuk ka qenë i rastësishëm.

Si ish-drejtues i antikorrupsionit kur Ilir Metaj ishte Kryeministër, Arben Kraja duhet ta dijë më mirë se kushdo që në këtë rast presioni nuk vjen nga portalet që të kërkojnë llogari. Presioni real ndaj tij më shumë ka qenë nga protagonistët e këtyre dosjeve, përfshirë Ilir Metajn.

Kur thotë se portalet po ushtrojnë presion më shumë se alibi për të fshehur mungesën e rezultateve në tre vite, me gjasë qëndron përpjekja për të fshehur bashkëpunimin e Krajës në gjithë zvarritjen e padive dhe proceseve që lidhen me Sali Berishën dhe Ilir Metën.

Këtë e përforcon edhe deklarata e Arben Krajës, kur tha se hetimet për Berishën i kishte nisur para se të shpallej non grata nga SHBA, që do të thotë më shumë se 18 muaj më parë. Çfarë i ka penguar këto hetime deri më tani? Çfarë i kanë penguar hetimet ndaj Sali Berishës dhe Ilir Metës bashkë, aq më tepër kur dosja për të parin është gati nga SHBA kur e shpalli non grata për afera madhore korruptive, ndërsa për të dytin ka 5 padi në sirtare?

A i penguan portalet? Sigurisht që jo! Nga të gjitha këto, portalet më shumë se pengesë për të hetuar, kanë qenë pengesë që Arben Kraja të mbyllte këto dosje.
