Elon Musk does not like rules. If he takes control of one of the central communication platforms of the modern world, that could be a problem, Carolina Chimoy thinks.

The Twitter platform has been described by Elon Musk as "the city's main square". Pjaca, in other words, the place where the news of the most important and current events circulate. So Musk knows very well how important this platform is in our time as a means of communication.

Instrumentalization for the benefit of Musk?

He has expressed some ideas before, in various interviews or in his recent Ted Talks: He said that he wanted to run Twitter as a private company and that the platform did not do enough for freedom of speech (of which is so strongly mastered in the US) because communication is constantly moderated unnecessarily, according to Musk. But what does the "freedom of speech" that Musk is talking about mean? Does this mean that everyone can say what they want - even if it is not true?

Musk-u gjithashtu ka theksuar disa herë se ai është kundër bllokimit të disa personave nga platforma. Një nga personat më të famshëm të ndaluar nga Twitter-i është ish-presidenti amerikan Donald Trump. Ai u ndalua nga Twitter-i, pasi mbështetësit e tij sulmuan Kapitolin, më 6 janar 2021. Twitter-i tha më pas se: “Pasi rishikuam me kujdes tweet-et e fundit të llogarisë @realDonaldTrump dhe kontekstin rreth tyre – veçanërisht se si perceptohen dhe interpretohen ato brenda dhe jashtë Twitter-it, ne e mbyllëm llogarinë për shkak të rrezikut të nxitjes së mëtejshme të dhunës.”

Musk-u, ky “absolutist i fjalës së lirë”

Por Musk-ut nuk i pëlqejnë rregullat. Në një intervistë ai e bëri të qartë se me të nuk do të ketë më kësi rregullash dhe mundësi bllokimi. Njeriu më i kamur i botës, me një pasuri prej rreth 270 miliardë dollarësh, dëshiron ta bëjë Twitter-in “imperativin social” të fjalës së lirë. Të gjithë duhet të jenë në gjendje të komentojnë çdo gjë, sipas Musk-ut, i cili e përshkruan veten si një “absolutist i fjalës së lirë”.

Një botë, e cila vështirë të imagjinohet, sepse miliarderi, në llogarinë e vet, i bllokon të gjithë ata që e kritikojnë atë ose kompanitë e tij/ Gazetarët që e kanë kritikuar gjithashtu ngacmohen rregullisht në llogarinë e Musk-ut në Twitter.

Asnjë pjacë nuk i përket vetëm një personi
