Large fire in Himara

A large-scale fire broke out in Himara on Friday evening. The flames spread rapidly to the hills near the 1 Maji neighborhood, endangering homes and orchards in the area.

Residents of Himara are on the ground, assisting firefighters in their efforts to bring the flames under control.

Due to the difficult situation and strong winds, which favor the spread of the fire, firefighters have also requested the assistance of firefighting forces from neighboring municipalities.

At the moment, the work of the forces on the ground is focused on isolating the progress of the flames and protecting homes and properties located in the area.
