Fires in Fier

A very critical fire situation was recorded today in the village of Radostinë in Fier, endangering the lives of residents and homes in the area. Fortunately, after interventions, the flames were brought under control.

The flames continue to be active, but at the moment they do not pose a danger to residents, homes or livestock.

Village residents are alarmed by the extremely serious situation, even after the flames have now subsided.

They are also afraid of what might happen during the evening.

One of the residents stated that the situation is extremely critical, adding that an entire neighborhood has been burned, including homes and livestock.

"There was a helicopter, a bigger intervention was needed. A neighborhood burned down there, another house here. Now the fire is spreading towards Levan. There is still danger. There is a very difficult night ahead. This is madness. Cows and houses were burned down. Firefighters from all over the Republic need to come. The wind is very favorable. It has never happened like this time, " said the resident.
