Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to yesterday's clash between businessmen Luan Muça and Vasil Bedinaj. While describing the conflict as banal and brutal through a video published on social networks, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the government will expropriate the area in Palasa where a resort is planned to be built and will turn it into an olive grove.
"Yesterday's story of the banal and brutal conflict between two builders and on the other hand an analysis of the property map of the area in question has convinced us that we must not only put an end to this story, but also give a clear message to all those who develop or even manage tourism assets. They must understand that they should not violate with their hurtful approaches and behaviors what is a great national mission, our mission of tourist Albania, which goes far beyond the physical transformation of the country and imposes on all its actors, from investors to waiters, to think and behave as ambassadors of Albanian tourism. Therefore, banalities and brutality of any kind must receive the responses required by the social importance of such a national mission and the authors of hurtful actions of every level...", said Rama, among other things.
