Life imprisonment has been requested for the 52-year-old Albanian mason Gezim Alla, who on April 18, 2021 killed his 39-year-old wife Dorina Alla with a hammer.
This is the request of public prosecutor Alessandra Block to the judges of the Vicenza Court of Assizes, formulated yesterday, November 17, after more than two hours of indictment. The crime was committed inside the couple's home in Pove del Grappa, in the Bassano area, in the province of Vicenza. Dorina's murder happened while the couple's children were at home, locked in the bedroom. According to the confession of the author defended by lawyer Chiara Bellini, the murder was caused by some offensive phrases of his wife, who after insulting him, spat on him.
For the consultant appointed by the judges to carry out a psychiatric evaluation, Alla at the time of the murder would have been in full possession of his mental faculties and therefore fully attributable to manslaughter. The civil party, represented by lawyer Dario Lunardon, who defends the two minors, requested a temporary amount of 200 thousand euros in total, to enable access to a state fund that provides compensation for victims of violence./ Ilgazzettino
