Nine Albanians left directly from the Home Office reception center on Thursday. They had arrived in Britain on a dinghy, reports the Daily Mail.
The deported citizens were part of a group of 26 Albanians who returned home on a charter flight to Tirana.
A Home Office spokesman said: 'We have returned a further 26 foreign criminals and illegal immigrants on a charter flight to Albania. Some of those on board had sentences of more than 24 years in prison. We value the Albanian community in the UK and welcome those who travel here legally and contribute to British society.
However, we are seeing large numbers making dangerous and illegal journeys and are working side by side with the Albanian government to take strong action to stop them," the Daily Mail quotes
Nine migrants from the Manston reception center in Kent were refused entry to the UK by the Border Force.
It is not known how long they had been staying in Manston, near Ramsgate.
One of the Albanians deported on Thursday had entered the UK illegally before being sentenced to more than seven years in prison for drugs.
Another was sentenced to three years for drug production and fraud.
A third, who had also entered the country illegally and in violation of a deportation order, was sentenced to more than three years in prison also for drugs.
There has been an increase in the number of Albanians coming from northern France in dinghies.
Last month it was revealed that 12,000 Albanian nationals have gone to Britain since the start of the year - up from just 50 in 2020 and 800 last year.
Earlier this week, the National Crime Agency (NCA) said that Albanian criminals are carrying out 'blatant manipulation' of the UK's modern slavery laws.
