Seized suitcases
Two Chinese citizens have been arrested by the Border Police in Rinas after attempting to smuggle 100 kg of cannabis into Albania, divided into 4 suitcases. The narcotics had been sent from Thailand, transiting through the United Arab Emirates and then towards Albania.
After being alerted, foreign authorities notified our country of the two Chinese citizens who were immediately captured and arrested in Rinas.
The case was then forwarded to the Tirana Anti-Drugs Office for further investigation. The cannabis had a high THC percentage, fetching a very high market value.
