The police in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office have seized assets amounting to 2 million euros, which are suspected to be derived from criminal activity.

In the framework of the operation "Summer 2022", a preventive seizure of movable and immovable property was imposed on the citizen RP, 39 years old, resident in Tirana.

More specifically, it is about a real estate (field), in Valare, Gjirokastra; 5 apartments in the area called "Paris Commune"; 3 garages in the area called "Paris Commune"; 1 apartment in Yzberisht and 3 vehicles.

According to official sources, the 39-year-old was arrested in 2018, by the English police authorities, as a suspect for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", while in 2007, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison by the justice authorities in our country. , for the same criminal offense.

Under the direction of the Prosecution, work is underway to uncover other assets that this citizen and his family members may have registered in the name of other persons.
