Ilir Meta has reacted harshly from his cell, following the instruction issued yesterday by the Ministry of Health, which indicated that hormonal therapy for transgender people at the University Hospital will be financed from the state budget.

So, free healthcare will support adolescents and adults who want to change gender, from male to female and vice versa.

Ilir Meta emphasizes that while thousands of citizens struggle with cancer every day and face a lack of vital medicines, the Government chooses to fund free hormones for transgender people, showing, according to him, that Edi Rama's cabinet has never focused on people.

"This happens because people's health has never been a priority of this Government, as it has proven all these years, where the promise of "free healthcare" turned out to be the biggest fraud ever committed, while citizens are forced to pay millions of euros out of pocket for the most basic medicines and to save their lives and health.

Instead of public funds going to the sick, to children, to Albanian families and to life support, they are used to impose ideological agendas that contradict and savagely attack traditional values ​​and the Albanian family as the core value, thanks to which Albanians have weathered great storms.

"This agenda, along with depopulation, has the sole purpose of national disintegration of Albania and the Albanian nation," writes the president of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.
