Rama: I have proposed immediate salary bonuses for firefighters on the front

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in front of firefighters and Civil Emergency troops, stated that by the end of the year, our country will receive 3 aircraft for extinguishing fires and in cases of emergencies.

"We have closed the procedure for 3 aircraft that will continue at the end of the year and will be owned by our state, but we have an agreed process so that in a moment of special need we also have aircraft available that come from that base where the new aircraft are being prepared and will be ready," said Rama.

He said that he has proposed that all firefighters who will be on the front lines of the flames should receive an immediate bonus, and he says that municipalities should also apply this.

"We will continue to invest for better conditions and cooperation with partners and of course for your salary. This time I have proposed that all forces belonging to the Ministry of Defense and who will be involved in this process be immediately rewarded with an extra salary and I call on municipalities to do the same for their troops and to do it immediately without waiting for the whole battle to end," Rama said.
