The Tirana-Durrës highway will be temporarily blocked in both directions for three consecutive days. In a statement last night, the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) said that the restrictions will be in effect during the night hours, from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
The intervention is related to the continuation of works for the Tirana-Durres Superhighway expansion project, Phase III. During this time, the installation of metal beams in the central space of the new Kashari overpass will be carried out.
Traffic towards Durrës and Tirana will be temporarily diverted to secondary roads. Heavy vehicles, especially trucks, will be diverted at the entrance to the capital.
Meanwhile, vehicles traveling towards Rinas, Shkodra and Kosovo will be redirected through the Kashar-Thumana overpass.
