The Durrës Prosecutor's Office lands near the KURUM company in Elbasan to seize all the documentation in the framework of the investigation it is conducting for the export of 102 containers of waste from the company "Sokolaj shpk" to Thailand that are suspected to be toxic.

Two judicial officers will receive any contracts, agreements, invoices, authorizations, registers, sales books, related to the sale for export of iron oxide in the amount of 2816300 kg to the company "Sokolaj", which was then exported to Thailand.

Also, the Prosecutor's Office requests all the documentation that KURUM has for the sale of zinc ash waste to the company "Sokolaj shpk" or other entities.

The documents will be required during the period 2020-2024.

At the moment, the prosecutors in charge of this case are collecting the necessary materials to shed more light on the suspicions about the transport of poisonous substances produced by KURUM, transported by Sokolaj shpk and currently sailing on Maersk ships to Albania. Next week it is expected that the administrators of the company Sokolaj shpk, those of KURUM and the customs authorities will be questioned again./ vna
