Admir Tutaj, 25, was arrested two days ago in Colombia.

The young Albanian is accused of participating in a criminal group and arms trafficking.

Foreign media reports that Tutaj used the pseudonym "Almirante" to hide and is considered a member of the "Balkan Clan".

"He was wanted by Interpol after being accused of arms trafficking and membership in a criminal organization, in which he had the role of managing the logistics and transportation of weapons on the black market. The weapons were used by the Albanian mobsters", writes the Colombian media.

Tutaj was detained upon arrival in Barranquilla and placed at the disposal of the Office of the Attorney General.

The young man was in the center of attention of the Albanian authorities as there were suspicions that he belonged to the criminal group that was trying to traffic weapons and ammunition through the Port of Durrës.

In April last year, exactly seven pistols were seized trying to enter Albania, along with a large amount of ammunition hidden in a truck.

Similarly, in August this year, investigations by SPAK led to a raid that led to the recovery of 25 firearms, including pistols and assault rifles, which were apparently destined for local trafficking.
