Lower temperatures, rain and even lightning and hail in mountainous areas

The weather has started to change course as the seasons change approaches. For today (August 26, 2024), the Military Meteorological Service announced that our country will be generally affected by relatively unstable atmospheric conditions.

The weather is expected to be initially clear from midday and in the afternoon weather with medium and heavy clouds. The cloudiness is expected to be accompanied by rain with low intensity first in the hilly or mountainous areas of the south and then it is expected to extend to most of the territory.

In the mountainous reliefs in the southeast and east, rainfall is expected to be of low intensity and occasionally to medium, accompanied by electrical discharges and local hail.

The wind is expected to blow in a southeast-southwest direction, with an average speed of 1-6m/sec, while in the valleys, mountains and along the coastline, the wind gains speed up to 8-10m/s, accompanied by waves in the sea, with a force of 1- 2 front, but no problems with navigation.
