Kevin Murataj is the 19-year-old Albanian who tragically passed away in Italy at midnight on May 26. The unfortunate young man was killed by a car while crossing the road in the area of ​​Lignano Sabbiadoro (Udine).

The Italian media reports that the tragic accident happened when the 19-year-old left a pizzeria where he had dinner with his teachers and classmates to celebrate his graduation. Kevin Murataj, with Albanian parents, raised in Foggia and living in Latisana (Udine), was in his last year of high school.

He had spent the evening at a pizzeria with his classmates and teachers and was going to a discotheque at the seaside resort to attend the graduation party. As he was crossing the road, he was hit by a vehicle on the white lines.

The young man was urgently transported to the hospital, but the impact was strong and he died on the way.

"Kevin was crossing the road on the white lines, the driver didn't see him and hit him," the 19-year-old's uncle told the Italian media. The authorities in Italy are working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
