American police have identified the victim of a tragic accident that occurred Friday morning in Waterbury. American authorities say that it is about 14-year-old Adrijana Mina, of Albanian origin.

Mina was one of four teenagers in a stolen Hyundai Sonata when it crashed into a Ford Escape. The collision was very strong.

Mina got out of the vehicle as a result of the impact, while despite being taken to the hospital, the injuries were very serious and she died. The police say that the car in which the teenagers were traveling crossed the red light and collided with the Ford at the intersection.

Two other 15-year-olds are in hospital in serious condition as a result of this incident. A 15-year-old girl suffered minor injuries and was released from hospital on Friday.

The Ford driver has also been released from the hospital. All of the teenagers were high school students in Waterbury. Mina is survived by her father, Gabriel A. Mina and mother, Albulena Rizvani. In the US, she also had her grandparents.

The funeral ceremony for the 14-year-old will take place on Tuesday at the Albanian-American Cultural and Islamic Center in Waterbury. As American media reports, the burial will be carried out according to Albanian traditions at the Albanian Muslim Cemetery in Waterbury.
