Robert Necaj, the beach watcher who saved a brother and sister from drowning on the beach of Shengjin a few days ago, told Euronews Albania about the difficult moments he experienced in the open sea when he had to fight for his life and that of his two children.
He told how he had risked his life, receiving several blows from the children (teenagers) who had submerged him several times in an attempt to save their lives.
" They had entered a very dangerous area, the girl was calling her brother to come back. The brother was shaking, having epileptic seizures. The sister was trying to save the brother. Suddenly I am attacked by the sister with the means of escape that I had given her. It was an involuntary blow, she was choking, I was shocked. the sister then plunged both of us in an attempt to escape. Then I was also hit by my brother" , confessed the young man.
But after he was able to bring them ashore safely, he was left without signs of life as no one had given him any help.
" On the way back to the shore, he falls unconscious into the water, falls to his knees, and falls face down into the water. After I kicked them out on the ground they both left the place. After I fell into the water, no one helped me, they ran away. Apparently they were bathing on another beach, I don't know where they were. The children have left, maybe out of panic, or seeing me in a serious condition, but I don't blame them. I crawled to the shore, I ended up unconscious ," the young man confessed.
He said that he no longer had any contact with the children whose lives he saved, nor with their family members, but he is very happy that he was able to save them.
