Chaos in the first plenary session for 2024

The new parliamentary session started with chaos from the opposition MPs who blocked the floor, preventing normal development.

The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, is expected to speak in the floor of the Assembly, from where he was expected to call on the parties to cooperate, but apparently something like this is unlikely to happen.

Foreign ambassadors to our country, including those of Great Britain and Germany, are also present at today's session.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, has called several times to MP Gazment Bardhi and his group to vacate the floor, but in vain.

"Congratulations to the president who, thanks to the opposition, is unable to address the citizens with his speech", said Nikolla.

Prime Minister Edi Rama is also present at today's session, while the session continued with the issues of the day, where the new ministers of the socialist government are expected to be voted in and the youngest deputy Plarent Ndreca will be sworn in, who takes over the mandate of Arben Ahmetaj.
