At the entrance to the Butrint National Park, a UNESCO-protected world asset welcomes a... donkey in the full sense of the word.
The Forum for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, which says the images are the best evidence of negligence of the total abandonment of the Ministry of Culture, has done to this park.
"Despite numerous debates in public, parliament or in important National Institutions, the entrance of the Park of The Struga where several hundred thousand visitors per season visit brings sadness and revolt to those whom the law has appointed to administer this".
"For public information, the Park in its entirety is administered by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism, the Administration of Protected Areas, the Municipality of Saranda. It is these institutions, which with their total indeference make us ashamed of the civilized world," says the Forum.
