In quite a few cases in Albania, it has happened that tourists, both foreigners and Albanians, have left the hotel or restaurant without paying, but this is because they were not satisfied with the service, or with the high bill. This has also brought clashes with the owners of the entities.

The most sensational case is that of three years ago, when Mihal Kokëdhima, the owner of a restaurant in Porto Palermo, "dated" a group of Spanish tourists.

However, today the protagonists of the escape without paying were some Italian tourists and the reason was unusual. The incident took place on Lukova beach, where the Italian tourists left without paying for the sunbeds.

Sources indicate that at first they argued about who would pay and in the end they ran away without paying at all.
