Monitoring with drones and intelligent cameras - Minister Lamallari warns of

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Besfort Lamallari, has made a public appeal for the strict observance of road traffic rules, warning of strict punitive measures for all those drivers who cause traffic congestion. Through a reaction on social networks, the head of the Interior Ministry emphasized that behaviors that impede the free movement of citizens will no longer be tolerated.

According to Minister Lamallari, it is unacceptable that due to the irresponsible actions of some individuals, other drivers who choose to respect civic norms and the road code suffer. He underlined that the rules are equal and must be implemented by everyone without any exception or distinction.

"For someone's whim, there's no reason for others to suffer who are delayed and stuck in traffic! If you think you're privileged and can do whatever you want in traffic, wave goodbye to the drone above you and wait until you meet the nearest patrol with your fine," Lamallari writes.

Expanding monitoring technology on national axes

To ensure law enforcement on the ground, the State Police is using advanced aerial monitoring tools. The Minister announced that in addition to the drones that are already in operation, a new technological monitoring network will soon be added to the police structures.

These are the intelligent cameras of the Smart City system , which are planned to be placed along the main national axes and strategic roads of the country.

"The State Police drones will soon be joined by the intelligent cameras of the Smart City system, which will be placed on national axes," Lamallari emphasizes.

This investment aims to increase road safety and enable the immediate identification of violators, by passing the data to the nearest police patrols in the field for the imposition of appropriate fines.

Authorities say that this new mechanism will serve as an efficient tool to prevent artificial traffic delays and to cultivate more responsible behavior on the part of road users.
