A quantity of 65 kg of cannabis sativa has been seized by police in Montenegro, a quantity of narcotics suspected of originating from Albanian territory.
The border police in the neighboring country have spotted two people with sacks near the border, which they then handed over to a third person who loaded them into a vehicle and started moving towards a village on the outskirts of Podgorica.
The vehicle was banned by Montenegrin police and inside it were found 60 different packages, which after being measured resulted in about 65 kg of cannabis sativa. The 41-year-old Montenegrin man was arrested, while the other two were suspected of being Albanian nationals, who could have smuggled drugs through the green border and handed it over to montenegrin traffickers on the other side.
