After the serious incident that occurred today in Roskovec, Fier, where 80-year-old Shefit Rrapaj killed his 75-year-old wife Dashuri Rrapaj with a rifle and then himself, it seems that the situation in the couple's apartment remains tense.

During the exhumation of Chief Rrapaj's body, an extremely tense atmosphere prevailed, due to the reaction and clashes caused by Dashuri's relatives.

Meanwhile, Dashuri's sister was urgently transported to Fier Hospital, in serious psychological and health condition.

On the other hand, a woman who was present at the scene stated that the incident was premeditated, as there had been a conflict between the couple 3 days earlier.

"In the Police report 3 days ago, it was found that there was a family conflict," said a resident of the area.

Meanwhile, a neighbor stated that the elderly victims were well-respected in the area and had not had any problems with other people there.

"She was one of the rare women. I respected her just like my sister. Now how it happened I don't know. The boss doesn't know. He didn't drink alcohol. The only man who didn't drink alcohol. Maybe the arrival of the little boy from Greece could have been the problem.

He was one of the wisest boys in the area. When the incident happened, I was there with my cattle. They have been here in the village for over 20 years.

"When I met them, they were the best neighbors I had. Especially the lady, I thought she was just like my sister. They both lived alone. Their 9 children were in emigration," said a neighbor of the couple.

Also, according to a relative of the couple, Shefiti and Dashuria had not previously had problems with each other.

Meanwhile, there are suspicions among local residents that the couple's young son may have been the cause of the conflict in the family, but these claims are still unproven.

"They had a good time. I heard about the incident on TV. They had a good time. They were up there from the mountains and came here later."

"They have 9 children, one here and 8 in Greece. I know they were a regular family. I don't know if it was a momentary conflict or what they had," said a relative of the victims.
