Another case of a highly poisonous fish has been confirmed on the Albanian coast, raising the alarm for vacationers and fishermen.
Professor Rigers Bakiu announced that this is the so-called "Qyle fish", a dangerous species that has now been identified for the second time in our waters. This development, according to specialists, shows that the presence of this fish is increasing, which further increases concerns about safety in coastal areas, especially at the beginning of the season.
Experts are clear: the risk is not only related to consumption. Fish can also be harmful through physical contact, as it releases strong toxins that can cause serious health problems.
For this reason, citizens and fishermen are asked to exercise maximum caution. Their call is direct: do not touch it or consume it under any circumstances.
