The police have come out with an official reaction regarding the assassination recorded this morning at the exit of the village of Panaja, on the road axis Fier-Vlora.

The Blues of Vlora clarify that as a result of the assassination, two people were killed, still unidentified, who were driving a "Benz" type vehicle.

It is also reported that in the village, Červen, on the road axis Levan-Tepelena, there is a burnt BMW type vehicle, without license plates, which is suspected to belong to the perpetrators. Three Kalashnikovs were also found inside the vehicle.

Police Notification:

Today, around 09:50, at the exit of the village of Panaja, on the road axis Fier-Vlorë, under circumstances that are still unclear, it is suspected that two still unidentified citizens, who are inside a vehicle type " Benz".

During the combing of the area, in the village of Červen, on the road axis Levan-Tepelën, the Police services found an abandoned "BMW" type vehicle burning, without license plates, which is initially suspected to belong to the author(s) of the event. From the preliminary examination of the vehicle, 3 automatic firearms can be seen inside.

The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Vlorë is at the scene of the incident, where the work continues to clarify and fully document the circumstances of the incident, the identification and capture of the author/s, as well as the identification of the two citizens found without signs of life.

The Police Services of DVP Vlorë, Delta Force of FNSH, in cooperation with DVP Fier, have set up checkpoints and are combing the area to make it possible to catch the perpetrators.
