The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, has commented on the American bill "Western Balkans Democracy and Prosperity Act", which, according to him, envisages the creation of a broad anti-corruption initiative for the Western Balkan countries, which, according to him, aims at direct intervention in state structures.
Noka made the comments through a post on his Facebook page, where it is striking that in addition to the photo of US President Donald Trump, he also posted a photo of SPAK, which Noka, together with Sali Berisha, have targeted for attacks.
However, Noka further says that the US foresees direct technical assistance for Albania, provided that, according to him, the Albanian government reviews the national anti-corruption strategy and accepts direct cooperation with American programs.
He also added that this law clearly emphasizes that political corruption must be fought especially in the judiciary, institutions that administer elections and public procurement.
