Novosel

A serious incident occurred yesterday evening in the village of Novoselë .

During a football match in a village football field, a 42-year-old man lost his life in tragic circumstances.

The victim, with the initials BR, lived and worked in Germany and had come for vacation. Yesterday evening, he was playing football with his peers, when during the game he was allegedly hit hard by the ball in the chest.

According to preliminary police information and the testimonies of friends who were at the scene, the 42-year-old lost consciousness after the attack.

He was immediately transported to the Vlora Regional Hospital by his friends, but unfortunately he could not survive.

Doctors announced that the young man suffered a cardiac arrest during the match, which proved fatal.

The 42-year-old's analysis has been sent to Tirana for autopsy, while the final results are expected to be released in about three months, to determine the exact cause of death.

Health specialists raise concerns that such cases are recurring more and more frequently, especially among young people between the ages of 40 and 50.

They emphasize that many young people engage in intense sports activities without prior medical checkups, seriously endangering their health, especially the cardiovascular system, which can lead to fatal consequences such as cardiac arrest.
