The blue uniforms arrested a 41-year-old man in Rrogozhina and has launched an investigation into his sister and brother.

Gjergji Sina is accused of stealing a considerable amount of money from a shop, but during the search of the apartment he was found 2.8 kg of cannabis and a quantity of combat cartridges.

Police announcement:

The police operation codenamed "Kompleks", developed by the Police Station Rrogozhinë, in cooperation with the Police Station Elbasan, is finalized.

Operation, for prevention of theft of property and for the crackdown on criminal activities of cannabis sativa cultivation and production.

Coordination of actions between the Police of Rrogozhina and the One of The Rugs, led to the handcuffs of a 41-year-old man from Elbasan, who was caught in the flames in Rrogozhinë, stealing a sum of money, from a working tool shop.

The operation was ongoing in Elbasan and as a result, in the apartment of the 41-year-old, the Elbasan Police found and seized 2.8 kg of cannabis sativa narcotics, seeds of this plant, war cartridges and a lot of illegally obtained money, as well as disposed of some narcotic plants that were found cultivated around this apartment in the village of Bizhute, Administrative Unit, Elbasan.

Meanwhile, on suspicion of implication in the cultivation of narcotic plants, the police of Elbasan, the brother and sister of the 41-year-old, were criminally prosecuted, and another citizen (social connection of the 41-year-old) was declared wanted.

Following the controls for the prevention of property theft, based on police intelligence and as a result of the exchange of information between the Police of Elbasan and Rrogozhina, for a citizen suspected of dealing with narcotics and had left Elbasan, the police operation codenamed "Kompleks" was organized and finalized.

Within this operation, the Police of Rrogozhinë arrested in flagrant Gj. S., 41, resident in Tirana. This citizen was caught in flagrance in the district no.1, in Rrogozhinë, in a shop, stealing building materials and a sum of money (200 000 LEK).

The operation was ongoing in Elbasan, in the village of Bizhute, the Administrative Unit Unprompted, where the Police of Tirana had received information earlier that the 41-year-old was dealing with the cultivation and production of narcotics.

During the search exercised at his apartment, the police found and seized in the quality of the material test, about 2.8 kg of suspected cannabis sativa narcotic substances, dozens of cannabis sativa narcotic plant seeds, combat cartridges and over 53 000 all of various cadavers, suspected illegally obtained.

Also, around the 41-year-old's apartment, several narcotic plants were found. On suspicions of cooperation with citizen Gj. S., for the cultivation of these plants, the materials were referred to the Prosecution Office where the free proceedings for citizens B. S., 50 years and T.S., 32 years (brother and sister of citizen Gj. S.S.) were referred, and the citizen G. Sh., 24 years old (friendly relation of citizen Gj. S.) were referred. Police are working to arrest the 24-year-old.

The procedurale materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of first instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durres, for further action.
