The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, reacted after the news that 3 soldiers were arrested in Zall Herr after cultivating cannabis in the ward.

Peleshi announces that the operation was carried out after the cooperation between the State and Military Police. The soldiers had grown the drug in a wooded area inside the Zall Herri military zone. Pelesi informed that all responsible persons have been suspended from their duties.

"The cooperation between the State Police and the Military Police made it possible to identify and then dispose of 125 cannabis plants, which were cultivated in a wooded area, in the territory of the military zone of Zall Herri.

All responsible persons were immediately suspended from their duties. We strongly condemn any illegal activity. We encourage the law-enforcement bodies to do their duty in every case", says Peleshi.

In the operation in Zall Herr, 4 more soldiers were processed. According to the police, by their actions and inactions, they have allowed the cultivation of cannabis.
