A police officer has been fined by his colleagues after he was filmed carrying out a wrong bumper on the road.

In reaction, the Elbasan police say that immediate action was taken against him with a fine of 3000 ALL, which was then immediately repealed by the police employee.

The latter has also launched an administrative investigation into a minor violation.

Response of the Local Police Directorate of Elbasan:

In connection with a video posted on the "JOQ" portal, in which a police vehicle is shown, performing incorrect passes, we inform you that:

Immediately after the publication of this video, the services of the Road Traffic Sector of DVP Elbasan have punished the driver of this vehicle, the employee of the Police Inspector A.B., with the maximum administrative measure for the offense committed (3000 all new), based on point 15, paragraph 2, of Article 146 of the Road Code.

The driver of the vehicle, Inspector A. B. has made immediate repayment of the administrative measure.

Also, for the police employee Inspector A. B. has started an administrative investigation, for slight violations.

The Local Police Directorate of Elbasan invites citizens to report at number 112 and in the Digital Commissariat any case of violation of road traffic rules, and guarantees them that it will react immediately and in accordance with the law.
