Details from the ARREST of the ALBANIAN in Abu Dhabi, Altin Sinomati suspected
Altin Sinomati

An Albanian citizen with the initials Altin Sinomati , wanted by prosecutors of the Anti-Mafia Directorate in Italy, was arrested ten days ago in Abu Dhabi , United Arab Emirates.

He is accused of ordering the murder of his compatriot Selavdi Shehaj, known as "Passerotto", who was executed on September 20 five years ago on the beach of Torvaianica.

As Corriere Della Sera writes, the murder is suspected to have been part of a clash between criminal clans involved in international drug trafficking, with violent methods typical of the mafia.

Altin Sinomati was identified thanks to international police cooperation and local investigators.

Joint investigations between the Carabinieri and the police had previously revealed that the hitman, Raoul Esteban Calderón, sentenced to life imprisonment also for the murder of Fabrizio Piscitelli ( known as "The Devil", leader of Lazio ultras fans killed on August 7, 2019 in Rome ) had been paid by Albanian Altin Sinomati to also carry out the murder of Shehaj, for a sum of 150 thousand euros.

Sinomati was convicted along with Giuseppe Molisso, another important figure in drug trafficking in Rome.

Both are part of the latest investigations related to the assassination attempt on investigative journalist Sigfrido Ranucci, author of the show " Report ", who was attacked last Thursday evening near his apartment in Campo Ascolano, a neighborhood of Pomezia, near the Torvaianica area.
