In an interview for "Report TV", Bido stated that from the 2011 census, 11.5% of Himare self-declared Greeks, but Athens wants this figure to go up to over 20%, so that according to our legislation they are declared a Greek minority. .

This would enable the installation of bilingual signs from Llogaraja to the basin of Saranda and Delvina, as well as the waving of the Greek flag in these areas.

According to Bido, the arrest of Fredi Beleri disrupted this plan.

"Greece's objective is to take southern parts of the country. Greece aims for the entire basin of Saranda and Delvina to be a bilingual, Minoan area in which the Greek flag will be flown. Greece wants the Greek language to be in Konsipol, Himare, Dhërmi, Palasa, an approach which Greece has started years ago since the 2021 census. In the 2011 census in the municipality of Himare, it turned out that 11.5% of the population was Greek. and Athens needs to reach 20% Greeks in the municipality of Himara, and according to our internal legislation, minority representatives would have the right to request bilingual signs from Qafë bota to Llogara, from Muzina to Saranda.

Fedi Beleri showed that he can get votes with a number of mechanisms, granting citizenship in Himara and Tirana. He gave Greek citizenship to businessmen and in Himara he gave scholarships to Greek state universities, he had access to the Himara hospital like no one else there. The victory showed Athens that in the census that will be held in December, 20% Greeks can be reached in Himare and be introduced as a cancer in Albania. Fredi Beleri is a part of a political project of Athens.
