When it has been 1 year since the "Golden Bullet" operation, one of the 20 arrested in this file, Florenc Çekrezi, was able to be released from the prison premises.

The decision to release him was made by the special court, which 10 days ago decided to accept the request of the prosecutors of the case, to change the security measure from "prison arrest" to "house arrest".

" Ora News " learns that although Çekrezi is accused of "Destruction of property with explosives" to the apartment of Talo Çela in Elbasan and Mustafa Subashi in Durrës, he has left the prison premises, continuing to remain under "house arrest" in the city of Elbasan.

In addition to this charge, Çekrezi is accused of three other criminal offenses, such as "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons", "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a structured criminal group."

The change in the security measure for Florenc Çekrezi and his release from prison came after the cooperation of the 36-year-old with the SPAK special prosecution.

Çekrezi told SPAK that he was the one who gave the amount of tritol to Eljo Bitri, who then, together with Nuredin Duman, Henrik Hoxha and Skerdi Tas, destroyed Talo Cela's apartment and Mustafa Subashi's bar.

Through his testimony, Çekrezi turns into the 6th repentant in the "Dumani" file. Çekrezi took the explosive from the construction company "Victoria Invest", a company where he worked as an excavator.

Due to the cooperation with the prosecution of Çekrezi for this episode, he has been released from the cell. The arrest of Çekrezi took place on May 18, 2022 during the "Golden Bullet" operation.
His name came out during the testimony given by Nuredin Dumani, who has shown that the explosive substance was obtained on two occasions by Eljo Bitrit, who provided it through one of his cousins, Florenc Çekrezi, who worked in a construction company.

In October 2021, Florenc Çekrezi escaped an assassination attempt in Elbasan, where Lulzim Bitri, Eljo Bitri's brother, and Ardjan Çollaku were killed during a Kalashnikov barrage. This event continues to remain without a perpetrator, while Çekrezi is the main witness in this serious crime.
