The Road Police has published the data of the measures taken in the last 48 hours during the monitoring of road traffic.

In total, 2401 administrative measures were imposed, 104 licenses were suspended and 6 drivers were arrested for drunk driving.

The police appeals to drivers to use alternative routes to enter Tirana in case there is an increased flow on the main national axes connected to Tirana.

The Traffic Police continues to monitor road traffic with smart devices.

Automatic radars, smart cars and educational drones, from Rruga e Kombit, Hani i Hoti to Saranda, in order to prevent road accidents.

Due to the increased flow on weekends, towards coastal and touristic areas, the Traffic Police services throughout the country have intensified the monitoring of vehicle traffic on all national road axes, the main rural ones and in urban centers, using automatic radars, cars smart devices, educational drones and cameras, in order to prevent road accidents.

As a result of monitoring, during the last 48 hours, 645 vehicle drivers were found and punished with administrative measures for wrong passing; 381 for non-deposition of reinsurance; 406 for using a mobile device while driving; 173 for not wearing a protective helmet by motor vehicle drivers.

79 drivers of vehicles, starting from Rruga e Kombit to Sarandë, were found to be speeding beyond the permitted limits and their driving license was suspended for a period of 3 to 12 months.

Also, 757 vehicle drivers who were found to be speeding beyond the allowed norms were punished with administrative measures, but without the additional sanction of driving license suspension.

Po gjatë monitorimeve dhe kontrolleve me përzgjedhje, bazuar dhe në analizat e riskut, shërbimet e Policisë Rrugore, gjatë 48 orëve të fundit, kanë pezulluar 25 leje drejtimi, me afat nga 2 deri në 18 muaj, për drejtim mjeti nën efektin e alkoolit, si dhe kanë vënë në pranga 6 drejtues mjetesh, për drejtim mjeti në gjendje të dehur.

Gjithashtu kanë ndëshkuar me masë administrative për drejtim mjeti nën efektin e alkoolit, por pa sanksion plotësues, 39 drejtues mjetesh.

Tashmë ka filluar kthimi në drejtim të Tiranës dhe të Morinës dhe për rrjedhojë, në akset kryesore nacionale ka fluks të shtuar.

Drejtuesit e automjeteve të përdorin edhe rrugët alternative për të hyrë në Tiranë në rast se ka fluks të shtuar në akset kryesore nacionale që lidhen me Tiranën.

The State Police appeals to all road users to strictly follow the traffic rules, and invites citizens to report any violation of the traffic rules to the toll-free number 112.
