Kelmend Xhaferri was arrested today by the police during the action of RENEA in Elbasan and Peqin for the arrest of persons declared wanted after the operation codenamed "Golden Bullet".

Kelmend Xhaferri was declared wanted after the murder of Pjerin Xhuvani and the wounding of 4 other people in Elbasan during a clash of SP and PD supporters before the April 25 elections.

He is accused of committing the criminal offense "Murder in other qualifying circumstances in a manner dangerous to the lives of many people, remaining in the attempt." Klement Xhaferri is suspected to be the person who injured the two former police officers, Pavlo Vuksani and Emiliano Prenga, who were part of the structure for the protection of the Democratic Party vote.

Kelmend Xhaferri, who is also known as "Kel Çami", is a well-known character in the city of Elbasan. He is also known as the right-hand man of Suel Çela, who is one of the 14 wanted in the "Golden Bullet" operation.

Kelmend Xhaferri became famous a few years ago from the clash with the Police in front of the Food Market of Elbasan. He has been brought to justice only for breaking under house arrest and illegal possession of a weapon.
