There is no doubt that the elimination of Ervis Martinaj from the stage of the organized crime world in Albania is one of the most sensational events of the chronicle in the last decade.
AP, on August 19, published details on the much-wanted Albanian justice, after his disappearance and the family's report to the Police on August 11.
Ervis Martinaj's body, cut into six parts, was seen by a witness. But the chances that he will be found by the authorities, to finally prove the death of the person who became a crime myth in Albania, are very few, if not non-existent.
He was last seen in the company of a friend. As it is thought that in the rival gangs, he was saved by a close person, who betrayed him.
Albanian Post now brings new details about the whole event, where according to confidential sources near the editorial office, those responsible for Martinaj's disappearance have come specifically to eliminate him from outside the borders of Albania.
Even, according to the source, it is a question of a very well-trained military group, including ex-soldiers.
Also, the source emphasizes the fact that his dismembered body was seen by a witness. What will be difficult has to do with finding the body and the official declaration of death by the Police, thus leaving the disappearance a mystery.
However, it would not be the first time that the body of a person connected to the world of crime is not found even after years of disappearance.
One of the most well-known cases of recent years is that of Enver Stafuka, who was kidnapped in 2015, even recorded on video, but his body has never been found and continues to be sought even after seven years.
But Martinaj is a character of a different caliber.
Naturally, the question arises as to how a person, who was known as the "king" of gambling, distinguished for his dexterity, insight and cunning, who seemed very protected even by the system itself, was executed?
The signal has come since the beginning of the executions within his district, which culminated in the triple murder at the Fushë-Kruja overpass, where Brilant Martinaj, a close family member of Ervis, also died.
This warning signal, coming directly from rival gangs.
Reason? Martinaj had exceeded every possible goal. This is what the source claims: It had become uncontrollable.
The murders and his activities had disrupted that dynamic between the gangs, isolating Martinaj more and more within the underworld.
Is that the end of the chain? With the top of the pyramid of the boss of one of the most powerful gangs killed?
According to the Albanian Post source, the game has already begun. The execution of Martinaj will be nothing but the beginning of the chain of laundering accounts within the criminal circles in Albania.
In order to achieve this, different gangs had joined together, contracting paid killers specialized in violent and precise eliminations, even outside national borders.
But, with the extermination of Martinaj and his close people, in Albania, citing the source, what they call a mafia war in Italy has begun: the bloody clash between rival gangs to restore hierarchies and balances within the criminal market.
Albania must get ready for bloodshed. Such a one, the Police, will hardly have the power to control it... (Albaniapost)
