41-year-old man stabs cohabitant in Tirana, jealousy suspected (NAME)

A woman was left with a knife wound after being attacked by her roommate.

The incident occurred the day before in Tirana on "Besim Alla" street.

The injured woman is in hospital under the care of doctors.

While the perpetrator, identified as Fatlind Cili, 41 years old, had fled the scene, but within a few minutes he was captured by the forces of Police Station No. 4 in cooperation with Police Station 6.

The motive for the incident is suspected to have been jealousy between the couple.

Tirana Police Announcement:

The 41-year-old man was arrested and put in handcuffs after he injured his cohabitant with a cutting tool (knife) for weak motives.

The cutting tool (knife) is seized.

 After receiving the notification that on "Besim Alla" street, a citizen had injured his cohabitant with a cutting tool (knife), they immediately went to the scene where as a result of quick actions, the Specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes in cooperation with Police Commissariat No. 6 made it possible to identify and arrest the suspected perpetrator, the citizen:

-FC, 41 years old.

The 41-year-old, after a conflict over weak motives, yesterday evening, in the apartment on "Besim Alla" street, attacked his cohabitant with a cutting tool (knife), who is under the care of doctors.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
