New details have emerged about the murder of a 14-year-old boy in the village of Pirg, Maliq. The investigation file reveals that a few days before the crime, the perpetrator drove a vehicle to the village of Zvirinë, slashed the tires in front of the victim's uncle's bar, and drove away.  

On the day of the incident (August 14), the victim, Erald Xhejo, along with a friend, went to the village of Pirg to get a haircut at a barbershop near the place where the murder took place. They saw the perpetrator driving by and whistled at him in an attempt to get some clarification.  

He stopped, got out of the car and started arguing while he pulled out a knife. The victim in these conditions took a chair from the bar's yard to defend himself by placing it in front of his body, but as he took steps back, he was tripped and at that moment the perpetrator stabbed him. The entire conflict was filmed by the bar's security cameras.

Eight people have been arrested by the Maliq police in connection with the fatal incident. The 14-year-old perpetrator, his father E. G and his uncle RG, 4 minors, and 34-year-old Flori Çela have been arrested.

It was a single stab wound to the heart that caused the 14-year-old's death. After committing the crime, the perpetrator, who was also injured, attempted to flee in a vehicle with the 34-year-old, who was present when the fight occurred. The minor's father and uncle are accused of acts that obstruct the truth after hiding the knife with which the crime was committed. The perpetrator is charged with intentional homicide and reckless driving.

The four arrested minors were also present at the conflict and are accused of attempting to obstruct the discovery of the truth. 34-year-old Flori Çela, who attempted to flee with the perpetrator, is accused of failing to report a crime.

According to sources, the fight between the young men started over trivial reasons like "why are you looking at me and cursing me?" The two minors had been arguing over such discussions for at least a few months. 

14-year-old Erald Xhejo died in hospital, while the perpetrator also received medical assistance, suffering injuries but not from a cutting tool. The latter was also active on social media. In some photos published by the media, the young man can be seen posing with a firearm, while writing messages like: "I appear when you least expect it."
