A large amount of over 13,1500 cannabis roots has been discovered and annihilated in some areas of Shkodra during a police operation where about <> police officers were engaged.

With five drones, 330 vehicles and two scalps, police officers have managed to identify parcels of cannabis planted in Pult, Shosh, Shalë, Vig, Vaun e Dejës and Fushë Arrëz and Puka.

The eleventh phase of the anticanabis police megaoperation codenamed "Pure Alps" is finalized, as a result of the controls in the territories of the municipalities of Shkodra, Vau i Dejës, Malësi e Madhe and Kumanove.

During the previous phases of this megaoperation, a total of 58,184 cannabis sativa seedlings and narcotic plants were destroyed, four suspected perpetrators were handcuffed and nine others were declared wanted, police said.

The operation was conducted over a week by the DVP Shkodra, Police Commissariats of Shkodra, Vau i Dejës, Malësi e Madhe and Puka, in cooperation with regional directorate AMP Shkodra-Lezha and FNSh Tirana.
The operation involved 1500,5 police officers, who used five drones, 330 vehicles and two scaffolds, to control the territory.

15,395 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were destroyed during the search by police services, in several villages of the municipalities of Shkodra, Vau i Dejës, Malësi e Madhe and Kumanove.

Work on identifying and catching authors of narcotic plant cultivation continues.

Police Services of DVP Shkodra and police commissariats of Shkodra, Vau i Dejës, Malësi e Madhe and Puka, in cooperation with regional directorate AMP Shkodra-Lezha and FNSH Tirana, as a result of the control of the territory, using and drones, have finalized the eleventh phase of the anticanabis police megaoperation codenamed "Clean Alps", at the end of which were destroyed in total 15 395 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants, of which:

13867 plants in Pult, Shosh, Shalë and Surroundings, Shkodra; 1145 plants in the villages of Toplan and Vig, Vau i Dejës; 133 plants in the village of Kastrat, Malësi e Madhe and 250 plants in Fushë Arrëz, Kuk.

During the previous phases of this megaoperation, a total of 58,184 cannabis sativa seedlings and narcotic plants were destroyed, 4 suspected perpetrators were handcuffed and nine others were sought.

The anticanabis police megaoperation "Pure Alps", follows.

The procedurale materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of first instance of the General Jurisdiction of Shkodra, for further investigative actions.
