Scholes is amazed by Yildiz after watching him play against Man. City: Who the
Scholes impressed by Yildiz

Kenan Yildiz had started his Champions League season with Juventus in an extraordinary way, scoring a magnificent goal against PSV in the 3-1 victory that the Bianconeri achieved over the Dutch at the Allianz Stadium. A gem that impressed fans both in the stadium and in front of the screens.

Coach Thiago Motta never gives up on his talent and against Manchester City, on a night when all the world's attention was focused on Turin, Yildiz shone like never before. He contributed a crucial assist for Vlahovic's first goal, which opened the scoring, before McKennie's second goal, surprising Paul Scholes.

A performance that amazed Scholes

Manchester City found it difficult to control Yildiz's movements, who did not provide clear reference points, constantly moving to the left and entering the center whenever the opportunity arose. The Turk's performance received numerous praises, including those of Paul Scholes, a legend of European and world football, former Manchester United pillar and currently a television pundit. During the live broadcast of the challenge between Juventus and City, Scholes published a story on his Instagram account, where he surprised everyone: "Who the f*ck is this Yildiz?"

Scholes' social media post

This rhetorical question clearly expressed his surprise and admiration after Yildiz's performance against City. The post was accompanied by applause and the Juventus logo, giving more weight to the compliments to the player and the club. Apparently, Scholes had not followed a Juventus match closely before, especially Yildiz's performances, hence his reaction was so surprised. It is no coincidence that a former United player highlighted a talent that has already caught the attention of Amorim's "Red Devils".

Yildiz's humility: Great honor to play against Haaland

Scholes' words could almost be seen as a call for his former club to keep a close eye on the Juventus talent. However, the Bianconeri seem to have no intention of selling Yildiz for anything less than "dazzling" figures. He is currently an irreplaceable part of Thiago Motta's starting lineup, who is working to develop him in the best possible way. After the match, Yildiz was interviewed by his idol, Alessandro Del Piero, showing extraordinary humility just before the start of the challenge: "It's a great honor to play against Haaland."
