The footballer from Vushtrri in Kosovo has passed away at the age of 22.

Erjon Morina was unable to win the "fight" for life.

The heart attack he suffered in October proved fatal for him. The player suffered a heart attack during a training session with the Vushtrri team and is now unfortunately no longer alive, having been lying in a hospital bed for days.

The news of the premature separation was announced by his father. Through a post on social media, the father delivers the terrible news.

" Dad's star has gone to heaven. You dried our hearts, Erjon. We will live in sorrow with the most beautiful memories of you. You will be the star that will always shine on us ," wrote Ilir Morina .
