In recent days, there have been speculations about Neymar's departure from PSG. Despite the Brazilian having a contract with the French club until 2027, rumors of a possible move to Flamengo are strong.
Neymar's father spoke on a podcast with Marcao, the father of the player Gerson, who recently signed with Flamengo.
The two agents discussed the possibility of the two players playing together in Brazil. Neymar's father was tight-lipped about his son's future, leaving fans of the Rio de Janeiro club dreaming, before rectifying the situation.
"For him to play with Gerson at Flamengo? It is completely possible. It's possible, but it's only possible in the Brazilian national team," he said on the "GV World Podcast."
"In football, anything is possible, but Neymar has a long contract with PSG. It runs until 2027. He just renewed, it's very difficult.”
Flamengo has just won the Copa Libertadores and has established itself as one of the best teams in South America.
Neymar still has four years of contract with PSG before he considers returning home to any Brazilian club. In 2027 he will turn 34 and be free to return to Brazil, where it all began for him.
