After seven years at PSG, Kylian Mbappe finally secured his dream move to Real Madrid. But his departure from the Parisians this summer was not smooth, and now the situation is complicated.
According to the French newspaper "Le Monde", two months after the end of the contract, between Mbappe, the club and the main shareholder Qatar Sports Investments, there is a dispute over the alleged unpaid wages.
The France captain claims PSG owes him a sum of €55m gross, which has yet to be deposited into his bank account.
This amount also includes a welcome bonus worth 36 million euros that Mbappe should have received in February, the three salaries of the last months as well as an ethical bonus for this period of time.
The legal representatives sent a letter to the Parisian club in the middle of June, but not receiving an answer, it was decided to proceed by making a request to the institutions to resolve the matter legally.
Mbappe has referred the matter to the legal committee of the Professional Football League and through the mediation of the French football federation to UEFA.
