Broja's injury, Chelsea gives details on the Albanian's condition

The Chelsea club has reacted to the injury of the striker of the Albanian national team, Armando Broja.

In a publication on the official website, the "Blues" of London have confirmed that the Albanian has torn the ligament and as a result will miss the remainder of the 2022-2023 season.

"After suffering a knee injury during the first half of Sunday's friendly against Aston Villa, Armando underwent further assessment on the club's return to England.

The results of the scan have unfortunately confirmed a rupture of the ligament and therefore a surgical intervention will take place.

Following the operation, Armando will work with the club's medical department during his rehabilitation and is expected to miss the remainder of the 2022/23 season," Chelsea announced.
