Evi Kokalari has announced that she will leave the political life in Albania, continuing her life in the United States of America.

Through a post on social networks, Kokalari emphasizes that with the creation of the new leadership of the Democratic Party, her work in Albania ends here, adding that she will return to America to continue her life.

"Congratulations to the new DP leadership.

I believe that many agree with me when I say that my work in Albania ends here and as such, I will return to my daily life in America, business, politics and friends.

Anyway one thing does not change; the fact that only a truly conservative DP will pull Albania out of the swamp of corruption. A center-right or center-right DP will simply be a continuation of what we have known in the last decade, and will remain a bargaining chip.

On the contrary, a PD of conservative principles will focus on the people and Albania, and not on its pockets.

Yesterday, the new leadership of the Democratic Party was elected, where the return of Jozefina Topalli and the non-granting of any post to Evi Kokalari stood out.

The Albanian-American activist could not overcome the fact that she was the most ardent support of Berisha and was not appreciated enough by the DP.
