Erion Veliaj: SP, ready the list of 10 candidates for President
Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj

Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj said on Saturday that the SP has ready the list of 10 men and women to elect the new President, if the opposition does not bring its candidate by Monday.

" Within June we will have a President. Most likely, according to the criteria we have agreed, we will have a normal President, who does not do the municipal brigadier. We have had presidents leading protests against the Astiri project. We need a president who deals with his affairs. I have seen mayors who want to become President, but presidents who want to become municipal directors, I had not seen.

We have 10 dignified figures, men and women, who have shown in their CV that they preserve the reputation of our country, the coat of arms of our Republic. I believe that among these 10 figures, we will make a Presidency decision.

Apparently, they lost their way in the yard as "Xhaferri simiten". We will give you another chance, propose us a name that is acceptable. I know to say that the Prime Minister is super determined not to have an active deputy, an active socialist, but to have a normal person. I believe that we owe the debt to the opposition by saying three times you propose us a normal man, propose us an acceptable figure, a unifying man of our country. "If the opposition says 'No' three times, then we will have to propose this figure ourselves ," he said.
