Prime Minister Rama arrived in Prague for the first meeting of the European Political Community, a new initiative that includes the 27 member states of the EU, the aspiring countries for integration of the Western Balkans and Eastern Europe, as well as Great Britain and Turkey.

"Of course it is not a new idea, very old. But it is reborn when there are times of crisis and I hope we don't have another crisis to have another meeting like this. I hope that from this meeting we will continue to work and build something important for the community of European peoples. Albania is part of a region, such as the Western Balkans, that is not in the EU, but is surrounded by EU borders. For us, it is absolutely essential that even though we are not in the EU, we are with you", said Rama to the journalists.

Asked what the government is doing to fight traffickers in the north of France, who transport migrants, mostly Albanians, to the United Kingdom, Rama replied: "Our government governs Albania, we are not responsible for governing the north of France, right? ?".
