The General Secretary of the Socialist Party, Damian Gjiknuri and the two deputies Blerina Gjylameti and Lavdrim Krashi have held this Sunday a meeting with the Albanians living in Great Britain.

During this meeting, Gjiknuri informed that he acquainted the participants with the restructuring and strengthening of the SP structures inside and outside the country as well as with the efforts that are being made for the implementation of the right to vote for emigrants.

 "During my speech I had the opportunity to talk about the efforts being made to implement the right to vote by Albanian citizens living abroad, a promise and commitment of the Socialist Party. I also introduced them concretely to the government's efforts to facilitate mechanisms and boost their capital investments in Albania, an advanced stage that goes far beyond just the remittance scheme, making them feel like shareholders in the country's economic development.

We shared together the conviction that the Socialist Party is the only force of change that will make possible the European dream while Albania remains the irreplaceable Homeland ", emphasizes the General Secretary of the Socialist Party Damian Gjiknuri in his post on social networks. 

The participants were greeted with a video message by the Chairman of the Socialist Party Edi Rama.
