Rama returns to fines: After July 1st, who is caught with bags will be fined

Anyone caught selling, or buying plastic bags after july 1st can be fined.

Edi Rama himself has been warned.

"The pleasure of paper bags in day shopping How good to see that daily and more merchants are replacing harmful plastic bags, with healthy paper bags, while many shoppers are taking bags for Pazar. This is how we protect Our children's Albania from the frightening damage of plastic bags to the environment and health. On July 1st, the activation of fines begins!" writes Rama.

Plastic bags have been banned from being used by retailers and buyers in the country since 1 June.
